One of the higher end models from the Kawai F Series guitars! This is a very nice guitar coming out of my personal collection of guitars! Ash body with a 5 piece maple/mahogany through neck reminds me of high end BC Rich and Alembic guitars from the 70s and 80s.
The guitar has a very nice feel and has very good playability. the unbound ebony fretboard is beautiful and dark and the frets are in good condition and the instrument has been thoroughly cleaned and set up for low action and good playability.
At some point, a previous owner replaced the original pickups with a high quality set from Seymour Duncan and removed the onboard effects. The switches previously used for the effects are now used for a coil tap for each pickup. the bridge has also been replaced with a modern tune-o-matic style bridge. One tuning machine has been replaced.
The guitar is in very good condition with the exception of some dents along the sides of the guitar that I documented in the photos. Overall very beautiful for a 44 year old guitar.
