1980 Yamaha SA-1200
1980 Yamaha SA-1200
One of the most popular and unique guitars from the Yamaha SA line of guitars. The SA-1200 model featured a Spruce top with maple back and sides, a Mahogany Neck and bound ebony fretboard. The guitar has an amazing dry and full acoustic tone and plays very well.
The finish on the top of the guitar shows some wear and damage consistent with a 44 year old guitar. There are dents and checking on the guitar, but overall it is in great condition! Pickups and electronics are original to the guitar and each ton control features a push/pull switch that allows for coil tap of each pickup. This allows for lots of tonal options and versatility.
Action Is low and very easily played, and the neck is very full and comfortable. The frets are in very good condition and the guitar has been thoroughly checked and set up at our Shiroishi Sapporo Shop. CroyTone Audio is a full service repair and restoration shop and every guitar is checked, cleaned and setup before being placed for sale. please reach out if you have any questions about our instruments or services.
