One of the coolest guitars made during the 1970s and 1980s.  This Peavy T-60 was built in the USA and features a thin Ash body with a very thin matte finish and a one piece maple neck.  The guitar is in very good condition with minor wear.  the frets are in good condition and the neck plays beautifully and comfortably.

The guitar features the original "Super Ferrite" blade pickups that are powerful and very full.  my favorite part of the Peavy T-60 is the innovative electronics.  Beyond the standard 2 volume and 2 tone with a pickup switch structure of the controls, there is also a phase switch that puts the pickups out of phase with each other for thin, funky tones.  The most unique feature however is that when each tone control is fully turned up, each pickup is a single coil with a sound very similar to a telecaster.  When the tone control is rolled down, both pickups become humbuckers with increased output and power for big rock tones.

CroyTone Audio is a full service repair and restoration shop and every guitar is checked, cleaned and setup before being placed for sale.  please reach out if you have any questions about our instruments or services.
