Produced by the Terada factory in Japan with official permission from Martin & Co guitars in the US, This Sigma model guitar is the official Made in Japan model of the Martin 000-28 Eric Clapton signature guitar. This guitar matches its American Made counterpart in both beauty and quality! With a beautiful vintage toned spruce top and rosewood back and sides this guitar sounds even better than it looks! Mahogany neck with Ebony fingerboard and bridge. Beautiful high end details like snowflake inlays on the fingerboard and torch inlay on the headstock, bound top, back and fretboard.
This 30 year old guitar is in remarkable condition for its age and has been well loved though there are some minor signs of wear and tear normal with usual use. there is a small scratch in the back pictured, there are a couple of scratches and marks on the headstock and the neck and fingerboard show the usual wear of a well played instrument. the frets are in good condition and have plenty of material left.
This guitar includes a hardshell case that I don't believe to be original to the instrument but fits the guitar securely.
Overall this is a beautiful guitar that is every bit as nice as any American made Martin that I have personally played, it has been thoroughly played and well loved so it is fully broken in and sounds beautiful! come by the shop to try it out for yourself!
